- In response to industry questions, Part 7. of the synopsis requiring "commercial specifications and standards" is changed to "7. the ability to preview and purchase, on-demand, all commercial and DoD-accepted specifications and standards." Under the authority of FAR 6.302, NAVFAC intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement, or submitting proposals, to Michael.fanizzo@navy.mil. This synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals; however, NAVFAC will consider responses/ proposals received within 14 days of this synopsis. The determination whether or not to compete this requirement is solely within NAVFAC ™s discretion. NAVFAC will only consider information received for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
