- 1. Request the Army Corps of Engineers acquire a four-bedroom dwelling (house or apartment) in Harlingen, Texas. If necessary, housing can be split into two different dwellings. Housing location is at the discretion of the COE, but we prefer to be within the city limits of Harlingen. Request to begin occupancy on or after 15 January 2012. Point of Contact for this project has contact information for corporate housing agencies in the area, available upon request. 2. Requirements for the dwelling are as follows: a.Two to three bathrooms b.Refrigerator and dishwasher c.Kitchen cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee maker d.Cable and internet service (wireless/cable) e.Linens to include bedding for all bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens f.Bi-weekly housekeeping service; change all linens, vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture/woodwork/shelves/window sills/accessories, clean window/mirrors, clean and disinfect kitchen/bathroom g.Bi-monthly lawn service, if applicable. h.All utilities paid (gas, water, trash, electric, cable, internet) i.Adequate electronic security, gated entry, and possibly video surveillance system
