- Due to the Critical Studies requirements to this Vendor This is a Notice of Intent to Issue an order to SR Research, ltd. 150-A1 Terence Matthews Crescent, Kanata Ontario, Canada K2M 1X4 The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of U.S. Army Medical Material Development Activity (USAMMDA) Intends to issue a Firm fixed price purchase order for a Eye Link 1000 core unit, USAMRAA intends to negotiate this contract on a sole source basis with SR Research, ltd. 150-A1 Terence Matthews Crescent, Kanata Ontario, Canada K2M 1X4 accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, Only one Responsible source and NO Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency requirements, 10 U.S.C.2304(C)(1). The contract will have a This announcement constitutes the only notice, a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quote. This Special Notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by the closing date specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All questions concerning this notice shall be emailed to Mr. Jim Coover at Jimmy.Coover@Amedd.Army.mil. Interested small business concerns may identify their capacities in writing by responding to this notice by 1:00 Pm EST on Dec 23, 2011 to the above email address. Verbal responses shall not be considered.
