- Justification and Approval This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Davis, W R Engineering Limited in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1). No compatibles or substitutes will be accepted. The requirement is for annual ShipIR software support to include: new releases and updates, email and telephone support, consulting services for IR studies, newsletters and highlights of IR studies, and correction of software bugs. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all information received after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses via email ONLY to Tonitta Hopkins at thopkins@nmic.navy.mil no later than 27 December 2011 @ 12:00 PM EST. No telephonic request will be honored.
