Performance Work Statement (DRAFT) Solicitation Numbers: S5105A-12-R-0009 Notice Type: Sources Sought SYNOPSIS Request for American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services for the Equal Employment Opportunity Office, Defense Contract Management Agency (Nationwide) PROGRAM OVERVIEW The Defense Contract Management Agency is seeking information on American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services. DCMA plans to have services provided as needed at different locations around the country. The service can be provided as nationwide service or by region: DCMA-West, DCMA-East, and/or DCMA-Center. SCOPE OF PROJECT The Contractor shall provide interpreter services on as needed basis for meetings, training and other events at DCMA nationwide locations, to include interpreting spoken English into signed English and American Sign Language (ASL) and ASL or signed English back into spoken English. RFI QUESTIONS Please provide a summary of your service following these questions: 1. Can you provide national coverage? Regional coverage? 2. Where is your central office located? 3. What are your normal business hours? 4. Are you able to respond to short notice requests? 5. What is your cancellation policy? 6. When do you require the use of more than one interpreter? 7. Does your company qualify as a small business or any other set-aside sub-category? 8. Do you hold a General Services Administration (GSA) contract at this time? Information provided in response to this RFI will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for determining how to proceed in the acquisition process. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
