- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting offers to provide Hospitalist services for the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. The contractor will provide Two Board Certified/Board Eligible Physicians (within Four (4) years of residency), in internal medicine to provide Hospitalist coverage at the VA Hospital including the Emergency Department and Inpatient Acute Care Unit. Contract period of performance will be from the date of award, anticipated January 15, 2012 through January 14, 2013, with a one year option period. Option periods are exercised at the sole discretion of the Government. Contract type is firm-fixed unit price, IDIQ contract. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy this requirement are invited and encouraged to provide an offer. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical capability/qualifications to perform services, satisfactory past performance record, availability, price, and SDVOSB/VOSB socioeconomic status. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item service contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. This procurement is unrestricted. The small business size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 621111 is $10.0 Million. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
