- Notice of Intent to Sole Source: This acquisition will be in support of Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of CBP Air and Marine. CBP intends to procure overall engineering support services for CBP P‑3 AEW and LRT aircraft on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, 86 S Cobb Drive, Marietta, GA 30063. This support will include systems software support services; air vehicle and mission equipment engineering, training, repair, modification, and technical support services; maintaining support of an avionics laboratory; material and equipment procurement services; and data development and documentation services This will be a non-competitive contract action under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (ii) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated contract period will be for a base year and four option year periods. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. However, sources responding to this synopsis prior to the close of business of the response date will be evaluated for services that are meeting the Office of Air and Marine (OAM) requirements. There is no formal solicitation available for this requirement at this time. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Lockheed Martin directly.
