- NASA/GSFC is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the East Coast NASAManufacturing and Technology Transfer Center (NMTTC). The NMTTC provides training forGSFC and Non-GSFC personnel on Workmanship Standards. The NMTTC offers the Workmanshipand ESD Control certification classes for NASA required standards, which are defined, inNPD 8730.5. As new standards are added to NPD 8730.5, new classes must be developed andoffered by the NMTTC. The NMTTC also provides informational courses where there is arecurring GSFC need as well as certification-level courses which are GSFCCenter-specific. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The installation Ombudsman is NancyAbell. She can be reached at Nancy.A.Abell@nasa.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over theInternet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASABusiness Opportunities page ishttp://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=.Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It isthe offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of thesolicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible fordownloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
