- See attached. Sources Sought Refuse Collection Services Scott Air Force Base, IL This is a request for information only. This is not a request for proposal and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The United States Air Force, 375 Contracting Squadron (LGCB), Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking sources for Refuse collection service. Scott Air Force Base is conducting market research to determine the availability of businesses capable of providing refuse collection services to various locations on Scott Air Force Base. Description of Services The work consists of providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform refuse collection services at Scott AFB, Illinois. Collection requirements are, but not limited, to the following: 1)Empty refuse containers/dumpsters 2)Empty Food Waste Containers 3)Collection of Construction and Demolition Debris (CD), upon request 4)Yard Waste Collection and disposal Performance Requirements All work shall be performed to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, federal regulations, and appropriate Final Governing Standards (FGS). Contractor shall establish vehicle routes and collection schedules. Containers shall be placed in specified locations across Scott AFB. The contractor shall return all refuse and garbage containers to their original location after servicing. All vehicles used in the collection of refuse materials shall be weighed on state certified vehicle scales before arriving at the base and on state-certified scales at the landfill. Incoming and outgoing vehicle weights shall be recorded on weight tickets provided by the operator to determine the amount of refuse tonnage collected on the base. Contract Type 375 Contracting Squadron is anticipating a fixed price requirements contract. The duration of the contract would be one (1) base year plus four (4) one year options.
