- Notice Type: Competitive Small Business 100% Set-Aside This notice serves to announce the intent of the 81ST Contracting Squadron to issue a solicitation for a Family Practice Physician, at the 81st Medical Group (MG), Keesler Medical Center, Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB), Mississippi. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation and all else necessary to provide this service. The period of performance will be 1 Apr 12 - 30 Sep 12, plus four one-year options for a total performance period not to exceed 60 months. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be posted with the Solicitation. The solicitation will be uploaded to www.FedBizOpps on or about 5 Jan 2011. All offers must be submitted via mail or any electronic form of transmission to include, fax and email will be accepted, however it must be signed by the company representative. Solicitations should be sent to: 310 M Street, Bldg 4605 Suite 102, Keesler AFB, MS 39534-2147, Attn: Paul Montgomery. This acquisition is being offered to 100 percent small business set-aside concerns. The SIC code applicable to this acquisition is 8011, and the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 621111 and the small business size is $10 Million. The requirement will be solicited as a commercial service using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR 13.5. All interested must download the solicitation for FedBizOpps. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation available. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications at the online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at https://orca.bpn.gov. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation.
