- SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT Under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 428a and the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.501), it is the Government's intent to award a sole source purchase order to Materialise USA LLC 44650 Helm Ct Plymouth, MI 48170 for maintenance, upgrades, and technical support of Materialise MIMICS Innovation Suite software for the Office of the Armed Forces Medical Examiner. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may identify their interest in this requirement or may submit a capability statement to the point of contact identified at this office. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the following email address no later than 10:00am Eastern Daylight Time, 12 January 2012; lucas.crumbacker@us.army.mil.
