- Description
- The proposed procurement is for (1 NSN), in accordance with approved First Article Testing per the Government's drawings. All responsible sources capable of building and testing to the requirements of the First Article Test may submit an offer, which shall be considered. Item is not a Critical Safety Item. Anticipated contract type is an Indefinite Quantity Contract. This proposed procurement contains an option to extend the Basic contract for 4 additional years at the discretion of the Government. The total shall not exceed five (5) years. Item is to be shipped to various locations within the established minimum and maximum quantity limits, on an as needed basis. This is an unrestricted acquisition. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of the offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Combined, all other factors will be approximately equal to price. A best value determination will be based on all evaluation factors. This solicitation will be issued on or about January 17, 2011.
