- Question & Answers 12/20/11 Question: Regarding requirement that the proposed IETM linking be to "Wiring Illuminator", (also a Boeing propriority application), digital drawings. Would the government entertain a more intuitive, DoD endorsed, user friendly, totally interactive, wiring display capability that addresses all electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and fluid flow systems and the electro-mechanical interfaces thereof and seamlessly integrates with any class of IETM including the S-1000D? Answer: We are willing to look at and take into consideration any ideas from industry including a new wiring display capability. Question: Will we still be able to participate in the RFP if we don’t answer the RFI? Answer: Lack of response to the RFI does not preclude a company from responding to an RFP, if an RFP is done in the future.
