- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. FBO and NECO webpage is the primary point of entry to be used when accessing synopses and solicitations. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER N00164-10-C-GS50. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price modification to EnerSys Energy Products, Inc., Warrensburg, MO under Contract N00164-10-C-GS50 for service requirements related to U.S. Navy submarine storage batteries. Contract N00164-10-C-GS50 will be modified to add three option years in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one source capable of meeting the Government ™s requirements. Requirements covered will be field and maintenance services for EnerSys main storage batteries on submarines that are in service. The Contractor must be properly registered in the Government ™s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to receive an award. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the internet at https:///www.bpn.gov/ccr/. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at destination. All services shall be delivered FOB destination. FAR part 13.5 procedures will be used. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject items.
