- Pre-Solicitation Notice for N55236-12-R-0007 COMPACFLT BERTHING & MESSING BARGE REPAIR & MAINTENANCE 336611 Ship Building and Repairing Bernard Loeffler (619) 556-2326 The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) San Diego will be issuing a solicitation for repair, overhaul and maintenance services to be performed on U.S. Navy Berthing & Messing Barges in the San Diego area, Pacific Northwest, Tidewater Virginia, and other areas listed in the RFP. This procurement will be solicited as a total small business set-aside. The successful offeror will be required to provide all management, administrative services, materials, tools, equipment, labor, and any required support to accomplish the incorporated statement of work and all applicable Government specifications and regulations. The Contractor is responsible to use the latest revision of all references, specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items. Inspection and acceptance of all services will be performed at destination by the cognizant Government representative. The Government intends to 1) award a multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for a base year period and four one-year option periods with a minimum guarantee, and 2) compete subsequent delivery orders among those firms that are awarded contracts. The delivery orders will be firm-fixed price. Firms that are interested in this procurement may send an e-mail providing all point of contact information to Mr. Bernard Loeffler at bernard.loeffler@navy.mil and Ms. Christina Bowman at christina.m.bowman@navy.mil and subsequently will receive a courtesy notification when the solicitation is posted.
