- A. The work of this contract consists of the replacement of existing Single-Packaged Heat Pumpat Log Cabin, Richmond National Battlefield Park.B. Contractor will be required to provide all labor, supplies, equipment, tools, materials, liftingservices, all supplementary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances and devices incidental toor necessary to perform work as follows:1. Disconnect and remove existing 4-Ton Single-Packaged Heat Pump, associatedoutside ductwork, rain hood, refrigerant piping, and all appurtenances.2. Reclaim and dispose of used refrigerant as required by applicable laws andregulations. Recycle the old unit.3. Furnish and install new high efficiency 4-Ton Single-Packaged Heat Pumpcomplete with refrigerant piping, 10 KW auxiliary electric resistance heat, controls,wiring, new rain hood, and miscellaneous items necessary for complete andoperational HVAC System in place of the removed one. Electrical characteristics:208-230V/1PH/60HZ.4. Furnish and install new Supply and Return air outside ductwork from Heat Pump tothe crawl space and connect to existing ductwork under the building.5. Modify existing ductwork as necessary to accommodate new HVAC equipmentand new ductwork installation.6. Reinsulate existing ductwork where existing insulation is missing and fasten loseinsulation. Seal all ductwork connections to existing floor registers and grilles toprovide free of leaks ductwork system.7. Restore HVAC system to fully functional working order.8. Remove existing thermostat and furnish and install new programmable thermostat.
