- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR OFFICE SPA CE IN DES MOINES, IOWA The Government is interested in leasing quality office and related space consisting of approximately 9,266 rentable square feet of space, which must yield 9,266 BOMA Office Area square feet for personnel, furnishings and equipment. Delineated area: Des Moines within five minutes of the Des Moines International Airport. Amount and type of space: Approximately 9,266 Rentable Office and related-type space. Parking: Minimum of 25 on-site parking located immediately outside and adjacent to the proposed building. Term: 10-year/5-year firm. Occupancy date: 11/1/2012 Submission Requirements: Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing to include the following information: Offers must be for space located in a quality building of sound and substantial construction, have a potential for efficient layout, be within the square footage range to be considered, and must be in compliance with all of the Government's minimum requirements. Class "A" space is required. The design shall embody a corporate or professional office park image. Industrial/warehouse buildings are not acceptable nor areas where they are located. The Government reserves the right to reject space adjacent to or in the immediate vicinity of railroad tracks. WRITTEN EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: •1. Building name and address. •2. Legal description. •3. Square footage offered. •4. Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. •5. Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted. •6. Evidence of authority to represent the owner.
