- This is a notice of intent to place an order with DROPMASTER INC, on a single source basis for COPTERBOX equipment to supplement the Free Drop Delivery System and the LCADs system being utilized in Exercise Atlas Accord 12 Pathfinder Familiarization event in Mali. This requirement is for a system previously tested and utilized by the US ARMY for safe delivery of payloads under 60 pounds capable of being dropped a very low speeds and low altitude with no parachute signature from both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft of both the US and Malian Defense Forces and be completely expendable with no recovery of delivery equipment required. No award will be made solely on the basis of this notice since a synopsis of intent to place an order cannot be considered a request for quotes. No quote documents exist and no telephone inquires will be accepted. Written responses, if applicable, prices and technical data sufficient to determine the capability to meet the requirement must be receive by this office within 2 calendar days after this notice. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government that meets all requirements, an order will be placed with the above named vendor. A quote will not be considered an affirmative response
