- This is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation, 6.302-1, only one responsible source, and not other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements, to CACI, Inc Federal, 14370 Newbrook Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151 for Army Battle Command Staff Training. The proposed contract action will provide functional and technical support to meet the demands of the diverse and critical Army Battle Command Staff Training Program. This requirement is for a the period of performance from 1 January 2012 to 30 April 2012. The sole source will allow the Government enough time to resolve GAO Protest B-406193. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 541511. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. A request for proposal (RFP) will be posted in the near future to engage industry for the follow-on requirement. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to provide this service, you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet the requirement. If no affirmative written response is received, this requirement will be awarded without further notice.
