- Notice of Intent - Sole Source Date Posted:12/21/2011 Closing Date: 12/24/2011 4 pm Mountain Time The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO19 - Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, Grand Junction, Colorado, intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order in accordance with FAR Parts 8.002 "Priorities for use of Government Supply Sources" & 8.405-6 "Limited Sources Justification and Approval". This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-54, December 9, 2011. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 333313Office Machinery Manufacturing (mail meter postage refill) and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The government has determined that Pitney Bowes INC is the only source that can satisfy this agency requirement. The requirement is for Mail meter postage refills for Pitney Bowes Mail Metering Machine, for the VAMC - Cheyenne, 2360 East Pershing Blvd. Cheyenne, WY 82001. All responsible sources under government contract may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO19 - Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, Grand Junction, Colorado. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Any company that feels they have items that meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. The information must explain the company's ability to overcome propriety information and their government contract number.
