- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS; THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.). THE REQUIRMENT IN THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS ONE OF A BRAND NAME NATURE, AND IS REQUIRING INFORMATION ABOUT A BRAND NAME PRODUCT. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The AFFTC, Edwards AFB, CA intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract Annual Symphony Software Maintenance. This software controls all Technical Research Library electronic functions such as web-based remote user access to the Library Online Catalogue and staff functions such as cataloging, circulation, inventory, and over dues. The Technical Research Library supports the information needs of all organizations at Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) including contractors, and tenant organizations as they relate to the AFFTC mission. The Government is seeking only, qualified, experienced sources interested in performing the services/providing the supplies identified in this synopsis. Therefore, the Government is requesting that interested concerns furnish the following information: (1) Company name, cage code, address, point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HubZone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc. under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 511210 with a Small Business Administration size standard of $25,000,000.00 (3) Under which NAICS does your company usually perform all the services/provide supplies identified in this synopsis. Please include the rational for your answer. (4) Provide no more than three (3) references for no more than three (3) of the most recent and relevant government contracts performed within the last three (3) years. Include name, address, telephone number, contract number, and e-mail address of references. Also, provide a brief description of the work performed, contract number, total contract value, and period of performance. Contracts must be same or similar to the work described in the in this synopsis.
