- Notice of Intent: The Bureau of Reclamation, Eastern Colorado Area Office intends to award to Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. a purchase order for a Sontek flowmeter to measure water depth and vertically-integrated velocity from the bottom of the canal. The proposed action is for water flow measurement device for which the Government believes that there is only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the agency's requirement. A Justification for Other than Full and Open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated award date is January 12th, 2012. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516; with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
