Note: Evidence that any supporting data that is the responsibility of technical or requirements personnel and which form a basis for the justification have been certified as complete and accurate by the technical or requirements personnel. (1)Identification of the agency and the contracting activity. Department of Interior, National Business Center, Information Technology Directorate(2)Nature and/or description of the action being approved (title of project). SAP Maintenance and Support Services FY12(3)A description of the supplies or services required to meet the agency=BFs needs. Maintenance on SAP software for the period 12/6/2011-12/5/20121 x BOBJ Web Intelligence Test/Dev NU295 x BOBJ Web Intelligence Named User1 x BOE Premium Test/Dev Named User526 x BOBJ Enterprise Premium Named User Justification For Other than Full and Open Competition (1)An identification of the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition. __X__41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302- 1__X_ Purchase description specifies brand name product or feature of a product particular to one manufacturer (2)A description of the proposed contractor=BFs unique qualifications or the nature of the acquisition requires use of the authority cited. SAP software- only SAP Certified vendors can provide maintenance (3)A description of efforts made to ensure that offers are solicited from as many potential sources as is practicable, including whether a notice was or will be publicized as required by Subpart 5.2 and, if not, which exception under 5.202 applies. A notice will be posted on FedBizOps and FedConnect. (4)A determination by the contracting officer that the anticipated cost to the Government will be fair and reasonable. Fair and Reasonable will be determined through competition between the authorized vendors. LPTA will be the determining factor (5)A description of the market research conducted (see Part 10) and the results or a statement of the reason market research was not conducted. Market research was competed via internet and a phone call to SAP, it was determined that only SAP or authorized dealers could provide this product. (6)Any other facts supporting the use of other than full and open competition, if applicable: N/A (7)A listing of the sources, if any, that expressed, in writing, an interest in the acquisition. N/A (8)A statement of the actions, if any, the agency may take to remove or overcome any barriers to competition before any subsequent acquisition for the supplies or services required. When the current infrastructure is retired, we will issue any replacement products using a competitive process
