DESCRIPTION: This acquisition includes the purchase of a code and part number item where Transdigm (81833), Sweeney Engineering Corporation (96736), & The Boeing Company (81205) are approved manufacturers and/or has supplied the item in the past. The solicitation and NSN will be available for download on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil, on its issue date. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available. NSN(s): 4730-00-585-8437 Item Description: Coupling Half, Quick Manufacturer's Code and Part Number (if applicable): Transdigm (81833) P/N 6520-772034, Sweeney Engineering Corporation (96736) P/N 6520-772034, or The Boeing Company (81205) P/N 10-20227-2 Qualification Requirements (e.g. QPL) and where information on qualification requirements may be obtained: Contractor FAT Quantity (including option quantity) 34 with 75% option 59 Unit of Issue: Each Destination Information: PRIL 0001 - 34 each to SW3211 Delivery Schedule: 180 days for delivery of test results, 45 days GOVT review, upon approval of contractor FAT 156 days production period after DCMA inspection. Total delivery 381 ADO If FAT is waived the delivery time may be reduced to 156 ADO. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The required quantity is 34 each going to (SW3211) Tinker AFB, OK 73145-8000. There also is a 75% option which may or may not be exercised by the Government. FOB destination and inspection at origin is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or after the issue date of 01/17/2012. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. The required delivery is 381 days. Note 26: Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contraction officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note 12: One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Note 8: This solicitation document contains information that has been designated as "Military Critical Technical Data." Only businesses that have been certified by the DOD, US/Canada Joint Certification Officer, and have a valid requirement may have a copy of the solicitation document.
