- Addendum II -- Updated Note to Offeror, Price Schedule, and Statement of Work Attachment 2 -- Updated SF 1449 and BPA Terms, Clauses, and Provisions *************** This solicitation is amended to change the contract type to a Blanket Purchase Agreement and to extend the deadline for responses to Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Because the local Texas market for hay and livestock feed is currently affected by a severe draught, a 5-year fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is not a preferred contract type for most suppliers. The contract type resulting from this solicitation is changed to a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with firm fixed pricing valid for intervals of at least 6 months. Depending on future market conditions hay and livestock feed, the BPA pricing will potentially get re-negotiated (up or down) at 6-month intervals per the agreement of both parties to keep the BPA in place for up to 5 years. The BPA terms and conditions and the updated SF1449 are listed in Attachment 2. A price schedule valid for at least 6 months should be submitted by each offeror. The updated price schedule is listed in Addendum II. The updated response deadline for quotations is pushed back to no later than 3:00 pm Central Time on Tuesday, _December 27, 2011_.
