- U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to issue a five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to Silent Partner Security Systems (SPSS), Marshall, VA. SPSS will be responsible to provide all necessary supplies and services to support DSX Security System products. The DSX hardware is currently in place in facilities in Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. CBP intends to solicit only one source under the authority defined in FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no formal solicitation package is available. However, prospective contractors who believe they can successfully propose must provide specific detailed technical documentation to support such claims of abilities. The Government will review any submittals received in response to this notice prior to 4:30 pm Eastern Time on December 28, 2011. All documentation must be submitted via email. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the preparation of responses to this announcement. This is the only notice that will be issued for these goods/services.
