FAA Technical Center adjacent to the Atlantic City International Airport. This is the announcement for the mandatory site visit (date and time shown below) in conjunction with the SIR/RFP. A Statement of Work (SOW) for this requirement is attached to the SIR Announcement. Specifications and Drawings for the project will be distributed at the mandatory site visit. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in attendance at the site visit or preparing responses to this announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with the site visit or response to the RFP is solely at the interested vendor's expense. This procurement is being advertised to all businesses actively registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) under the following NAICS Codes: 236210, 238610, and 236220. This procurement has an anticipated dollar threshold range between $7,000,000 and $9,000,000. All potential vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry website (www.ccr.gov) for consideration of this award. A MANDATORY Site visit is scheduled for Friday, January 6th, 2012 at 9:00 am (local time). The site visit is at the Federal Aviation Administration William J. Hughes Technical Center, located next to Atlantic City International Airport, Pomona, New Jersey. You will need to check in at security (Security Operations Center, Building 320, directly outside the Main gate), so please allow plenty of time for processing. Attendance at the site visit is mandatory. Vendor proposals received without attendance at the mandatory site visit will not be considered. All interested vendors must respond by email with your company's name, list of persons attending the mandatory site visit and contact information. Please respond to: Joseph.Woodfield@faa.gov and review the SIR/RFP to familiarize yourself and your company with the necessary qualifications and experience the FAA is requiring for this project. Only vendors who respond to this announcement and attend the mandatory site visit will be permitted to submit a proposal. Potential sources are cautioned that further public announcements may not be made and the Specifications and Drawings for the project will only be released to the qualified vendors responding to this announcement and who attend the mandatory site visit. Questions or comments on this procurement are welcomed. Please submit any questions in writing to Joseph Woodfield prior to January 4th, 2011, 2:00pm (local time).
