- NSN: 6130012099062HY POWER SUPPLYSubpart 5.202 provides exceptions to the synopsis requirement (FAR5.201). Item 13 provides that a synopisis is not required when thecontracting officer determines that the proposed contract action '(i) Isfor an amount not expected to exceed the simplified acquisitionthreshold; (ii) Will be made through a means that provides access to thenotice of proposed contract action through the GPE; and (iii) Permitsthe public to respond to the solicitation electronically.'
