- Description
- NASA Ames Research Center (ARC), Moffett Field, CA intends to issue Request forQuotation (RFQ) NNA12417131Q for the Lease of EDM Water Recovery System with supportservices. The equipment will be used by NASA personnel for research and analysis ofapplicability for potential use on board International Space Station (ISS).The commercial solicitation will use provisions and clauses at FAR Part 12, in effectthrough FAC 2005-54. Potential offerors may review the provisions and clauses at http://nais.nasa.gov/far/. The solicitation will require competitive pricing and technical information to evaluatefor award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The planned contract will be for one (1)six-month lease and will include two (2), three-month option periods. The contractor willdeliver to NASA Ames Research Center, set up, and provide initial training on theequipment usage within 30 days from contract award. Consumable material to be used withthe equipment will be included in the contract as will basic maintenance of theequipment.This solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted; Full and Open Competition is sought. All responsible offerors may submit an offer in response to the solicitation. The NAICSCode is 333319-Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. TechnicalEvaluation criteria will be included in the solicitation. Award will be made to theofferor whose proposal, conforming to all requirements of the solicitation, is mostadvantageous to the Government. Selection evaluation criteria will include: MissionSuitability/Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price. The anticipated release date of RFQ NNA12417131Q is on or about 11 January 2012. Theanticipated proposal due date is on or about 11 February 2012. The firm date for receiptof proposals will be stated in the solicitation.
