- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey (Lakehurst Area), in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. The square footage is over 700,000 feet. The Contractor shall accomplish all cleaning tasks and be required to provide and replenish soap and paper products in all restrooms identified in Appendices A and B, in order to meet the requirements of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Service Summary (SS). Maximum cleaning frequencies are established in Appendix A, Air Force Custodial Common Levels of Service Standards. Facility cleaning levels and estimated square footages are established in Appendix B, Estimated Square Footages and Cleaning Level. All work performed by the Contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, Headquarters Air Force (HAF) standards, instructions, and commercial practices. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a request for proposal and is issued as a 100% 8a Competitive Set-aside under the Standard Industrial Classification code 7349; NAICS code 561720 and the related small business standard of 16.5 million dollars. The contract will be a requirements contract. The proposed performance period is a base period from 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2013 and four (4) one year options. A preproposal conference and site visit are tentatively scheduled on or about 17 January 2012. If you are planning to attend the site visit and in order to ensure access to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, prior coordination with the 87th Contracting Squadron is mandatory not later than 11 January 2012 by 10:00 AM EST. The contractor shall comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DOD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Solicitation will be issued on or about 03 Jan 2012. The Offer Due Date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 87 CONS. Paper copies will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).
