- The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation for the following items: NSN: 1005-01-550-1628 PN: 13016478 Noun: Carrying Handle Assembly QTY: 2,800 FOB: Destination Destination: New Cumberland, PA Packaging: Mil/B NSN: 5315-01-550-1623 PN: 13016480 Noun: Pin, Shoulder, Headed QTY: 2,800 FOB: Destination Destination: New Cumberland, PA Packaging: Mil/B NSN: 5315-01-549-8499 PN: 12976826 Noun: Pin, Grooved, Headless QTY: 1,800 FOB: Destination Destination: New Cumberland, PA Packaging: Mil/B NSN: 1005-01-565-2588 PN: 13016481 Noun: Handle, Breechblock QTY: 2,800 FOB: Destination Destination: New Cumberland, PA Packaging: Mil/B The technical data is export controlled. This solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract with two 100% options. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The approximate issue date will be 1 November 2011 with an approximate response date of 1 December 2011. First Article Testing is a requirement of this procurement. A license agreement between FN Herstal, S.A. and the US Government requires the items procured to be manufactured in the US and Canada. US means the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Disclosure and use of the TDP are restricted by the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement that the offeror will be required to execute prior to access of the TDP. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items being procured under this contract within the US and Canada. Instructions for this process will be contained in Section C of the solicitation. Once these requirements have successfully been completed, an offeror will be granted access to the TDP in FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). If you do not have access to FedBizOpps, recommend you register as soon as possible. The M240L Coating Material used in the production of these items may only be manufactured within the United States of America. The data for the M240L Coating Material is proprietary to FNH, and is protected by a licensing agreement that requires interested offerors to execute a Non-Use and Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to receiving the information. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
