- This announcement is to provide notification of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to enter into a sole source task order with Picis Inc, 100 Quannapowitt Parkway, Suite 405, Wakefield, MA 01880 for a service and maintenance agreement for the Picis Software programs listed below. Picis Inc. will provide this service to the Albany VA Medical Center. This agreement will be for a twelve month period. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511. This procurement involves licensed, proprietary software, software upgrades and proprietary passwords. Any interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide service and maintenance and software upgrades. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer not later than Friday December 27, 2011 at 3:00PM local time. Information should be sent to Justin Rhodes, Contracting Officer, at justin.rhodes2@va.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by the response date the Department of Veterans Affairs will proceed with the intended agreement. All questions concerning this requirement must be in writing and submitted via email to justin.rhodes2@va.gov.
