- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Rapiscan Airport Scanners The Afghanistan Border Police (ABP) and Afghan Customs Department (ACD) require the ability to inspect all packages prior to entering and departing Kandahar International Airport to insure the safety of all passengers and the security of Afghanistan. In order to perform this important task, ABP and ACD is charged to provide the officers located at the inspection points with the most advanced x-ray screening equipment available. Procurement and delivery terms shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer/COR for approval and shall be in accordance with brand name specifications referenced in the contract. These systems will be utilized at the Kandahar, Afghanistan International Airport.
