- This project consists of approximately 3.36 miles of Level 3 Road Maintenance on FR2250 Picketwire Canyon Road and furnishing and installing 1,100 tons of CDOT Class "6" Road Base, including mobilization, and blading and shaping traveled way. Work includes performing routine maintenance by furnishing all material, equipment, transportation, supervision and labor necessary to provide Level 3 Road Maintenance. FR2250 Picketwire Canyon Road is located on the Pinon Canyon Manuever Site, located on the Timpas Ranger District in the Comanche National Grasslands. The road can be located from the west by traveling northwest out of Trinidad on Hwy 350 (approx. 30 mi.) to Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site Main Gate. Project location is approx. 1 mile south of the military gate. All personnel will need Forest Service escort on military land. No site visit will be scheduled. Period of performance: 30 days from Notice to Proceed (approx. Mar 1,2012). All solicitation documents will be posted to the website approximately on Jan. 5, 2012. Proposals will be due on approximately Feb 6, 2012, actual date will be listed in the solicitation. Offerors must be registered in CCR in accordance to FAR 52.204-7 Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance to FAR 52.204-8 Offerors who fail to meet these requirements will not be considered for award.
