Description

Solicitation The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Patuxent River, MD intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a BRAND NAME basis. The Manufacturer for the required products/services is ACTRAN. This brand name is being solicited under the authority of FAR Part 12 and 13; and FAR Part 6.302-1. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract; go to www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm to register. All proposals received by the closing date of Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 3 PM (EST) may be considered by the Government. Award is expected January 5, 2011. The government will not pay for any information received. Offerors may submit proposals via fax; however, the preferred method is via email. Please send to the attention of the Contracting POC above, by the closing date and time. This procurement is set aside for small business per FAR 52.219-6. Substitutions and alternate items/service will not be accepted; quote all or none.
