- Ft MacArthur Map Registration Form LISC Industry Day #2 Purpose: The Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Spacelift Range System Division (SMC/LRR), Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, intends to host the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS) Integrated Support Contract (LISC) Industry Day #2 on 12 January 2012 (and 13 January 2012, if necessary for one-on-one sessions) in the Garden Room at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, California. LISC Industry Day #2 will include a general session aimed at discussing the key aspects of the LISC Draft RFP package released 16 December 2011 (including areas identified by responders during the comment period), a separate session for small business attendees which will focus on discussing the Air Force's efforts to best utilize small business participation on LISC, and a series of one-one-one sessions for potential prime Offeror Teams. The general session is expected to be held from 8:00 am until 10:00 am, and the small business session is expected to be held from 10:30 am until 11:30 am. One-on-one sessions will begin on the afternoon of 12 January and will each last 60 minutes. If necessary, one-on-one sessions will continue on 13 January. All potential Contractors (at any tier), including small and small disadvantaged businesses, are encouraged to attend. SMC/LRR looks forward to engaging Industry on the LISC acquisition in this forum. Registration: All parties intending to participate must complete the attached Registration Form and submit the Form to the Primary Point of Contact via email no later than 5:00 pm, 9 January 2012. Access to Fort MacArthur is restricted. Attendees must be United States citizens or legal residents. In addition, attendees must present current photo identification information matching the information submitted via the Registration Form to gain entry into the event. A company may send no more than 3 attendees to the general session (and small business session, if appropriate). Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to permit sufficient time for check-in. This is an UNCLASSIFIED event; no clearances are required. There will be a nominal fee to be paid by each attendee on the date of the event to cover the cost of refreshments. One-on-one sessions will be held for each potential prime Offeror Team. Each Team will be restricted to 10 persons for the session. Coordinate and schedule one-on-one sessions via email with the Primary Point of Contact no later than 5:00 pm, 9 January 2012, and include the identification information requested in the Registration Form for any attendees that will not be attending the general session. Declaration: This event is for information only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal. The Air Force will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. In addition, non-participants will not be excluded from submitting a proposal in response to an RFP.
