- This Pre-solicitation Notice seek a Total Small Business (SB) Firm for a Firm-Fixed Price, Construction Project to acquire labor, transportation, on-site supervision, materials, coordination and equipment to provide a three-phase, 12.47 KV underground feeder, H52, with radial taps to transformers to provide electric service to Building 130H, West of D Street Bridge. Feeder H52 shall include a concrete encased duct bank, pad-mounted cable junction pedestals, pad-mounted switchgear, pad-mounted transformers, primary and secondary cables, secondary switchgear and incidental related work. The work also includes providing a three-phase, 12.47 kV underground feeder, M61, with radial taps to transformers to provide electric service to Buildings 811A, 10, 45N and 12 (future), near the main power plant at Building 11, Great Lakes, IL. Substation H50 shall be the source of Feeder H52 and substation M6A shall be source of Feeder M61 at Naval Station Great Lakes, Great Lakes, IL. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION BUT A SYNOPSIS NOTIFICATION. NAICS CODE IS 237130. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED THE WEEK OF JANUARY 9, 2012. Period of Performance for this entire project is no more than 180 calendar days from the date of award. This period includes lead time for materials. The financial magnitude of this project as outlined in FAR 36.204 is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. THIS PROJECT IS BEING SET ASIDE AS A 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.
