- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of Dyed Diesel Fuel. This acquisition has been determined to be a commercial item, and is being prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-54 of December 2, 2011. Quotations are being requested via this notice only. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/Request for Quotations (RFQ) number is E12PS10538. The acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System Code is 424720 and the small business size standard is 100 employees or less. This acquisition is to supply and deliver up to 10,382 gallons of Red Dyed Diesel fuel for delivery to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Multiple deliveries will take place throughout Fiscal Year 2012 (10/01/2011- 09/30/2012) on an as needed basis. Quantities will vary based upon the parks need at the time of each delivery. Lassen Volcanic National Park will contact the contractor each time fuel is required in order to set up delivery date, location, and fuel quantity. The contractor should have the capability to deliver up to 1,800 gallons of fuel per order. Anticipated delivery will be unloaded into a NPS fuel tanker located at Lassen Volcanic National Park, Southwest Visitors Center Parking lot. Interested parties shall submit a quotation meeting or exceeding the requirements furnished above. Pricing should include the cost to direct deliver to Lassen Volcanic National Park in Mineral, CA. All delivery time, dates, and quantities will be coordinated with Greg Handa or Elizabeth Chico at 530-595-6222. INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL SUBMIT A QUOTATION WITH A PRICE BREAKDOWN FOR EACH GALLON AND ALSO A TOTAL FOR ALL ITEMS. The Government reserves the right to adjust the total quantity ordered based on availability of funding at the time of award. A breakdown of quantity discounts shall be provided with the quotation, if applicable.
