Description

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC), Office of Center Director (OCD), intends to negotiate solely with FEI, in Hillsboro, OR, to enter into a service contract with FEI to service a Quanta 200 FEG SN# D7739, D7739.1, D7739.2, D7739.3 (This instrument is used to look at the surfaces of samples) and a CM12STEM SN#D818 (This instrument is used to study the surfaces of samples at high magnification). Companies with the demonstrated capabilities of providing this service must submit a descriptive statement, including descriptive literature, specifically addressing the equipment’s components and availability. The NAICS is 334411. The statement and literature must be submitted to the Contracting Office Address within 5 days of publication of this notice (December 28, 2011). This is not a request for proposal. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.
