- Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Gordon, GA has a requirement for DNA Investigator Kits and Proteinese K consumables for the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory (USACIL). The Government intends to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for this requirement. The suggested contractor is Qiagen Incorporated. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, companies that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their products, past performance information, price, and preventative maintenance. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. This information will be reviewed by the Government for consideration for future requirements. If no affirmative written responses are received by 8:00A.M. on 29 December 2011, award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
