Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California Army National Guard has a requirement to purchase latrine cleaning services for chemical latrines located at Camp Roberts in San Miguel, CA. The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, equipment and labor necessary to perform servicing of 86 government owned latrines at the National Guard Training Site, Camp Roberts, CA. The government owned latrines consist of the following: 35 trailer mounted two hole (120 gallon tank) chemical latrines, 9 trailer mounted single hole (60 gallon tank) chemical latrines, and 42 stationary single hole chemical latrines (30 regular and 12 handicap accessible, all with sinks, built in soap dispensers and towel dispensers). The number of cleaning services or pumps shall be 3000 services per year for the 86 chemical latrines. Technical Specifications outlining the scope, responsibilities, equipment and service requirements, safety, and other expectations as well as a Statement of Work are attached to this notice. The period of performance for this contract is an initial year followed by 4 option years. Contractors are to visit the site prior to submitting a bid to ensure their proposal is accurate and that the quantities of work reflected on the proposal are the actual quantities of work to be accomplished under the contract. This purchase has been set aside for small business and only proposals from small business entities will be considered for award. All vendors must have their representation and certifications on file electronically in ORCA and vendors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Quotes are due no later than 10:00am PST on January 24, 2012.
