- Description
- The Government intends to procure a contract with Hilldrup Moving and Storage Company, 4022 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Stafford, VA 22554-4827, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This contract is to continue with the safe storage, handling, and transport of the fine art collection of the National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC). Only Hilldrup Moving and Storage Company is currently providing storage and handling services for the NMMC art collection. (Numbered Note 22.) A determination has been made by the Government to use other than full and open competition for this acquisition.
