- The solicitation number for W911SA11T0045 has been changed to W911SA12T0029. Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort McCoy (ICO) Office intends to award a contract for (30) thirty DTX alarm transceivers and (30 thirty antenna wall mount kits on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii)-Sole Source to Signal Communication Corporation, 4 Wheeling Avenue, Woburn, MA 01801. This action is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12-Commercial Items, utilizing procedures from FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The current system that is utilized at Fort McCoy is a "Vision 21" notification system. With the Vision 21 system it is essential to purchase the DTX Alarm Transceiver and Antenna with wall mount kit in order to have a compatible system. Any other transceiver with the same frequency, the codes would not be recognized by the Vision 21 system and notifications would not be received. **Location for Delivery/Sep up: Fort McCoy, WI Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement, proposal or quotations which shall be considered by the government to the identified point of contact no later than 27 Dec 2011-1200 CST. Such capabilities will be evaluated and it will be determined whether or not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, base upon responses of this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No RFP will be issued based this Notice of Intent. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Submit the aforementioned documents to laurie.a.ehlinger.civ@mail.mil.
