- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of various dairy products for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12-month period. The estimated contract requirements include: Milk low fat (1%) half-pint cartons, estimated quantity 1,728,000; Milk low fat chocolate, (2%) half-pint cartons, estimated quantity 20,000; Milk low fat, (1%) bulk 5 gallon bladders, disposal dispensing containers, estimated quantity 5,400; Milk low fat chocolate, (1%) bulk 5 gallon bladders, disposal dispensing containers, estimated quantity 500; Cottage Cheese, unflavored low fat, small curd, 5 lb. container, estimated quantity 2,000 Deliveries will be Monday's and Friday's of each week between 8:00 am and 10:30 am. The solicitation will be available on or about January 05, 2012 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about January 19, 2012. The solicitation will be issued unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 424430 with a size standard of 100 employees. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov.
