- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the International Mountain Bicycling Association, (IMBA), to o-sponsor the 2012 IMBA World Summit to be held October 10-13, 2012 in Santa Fe, NM. The IMBA is a unique organization that develops and provides programs, materials, information, and training to promote safe and responsible use of mountain bicycles and promote environmentally sustainable trails. As host of the 2012 IMBA World Summit, the IMBA is the with whom FHWA may partner to co-sponsor the event. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $20,000; the anticipated award date is January 05, 2012.
