Description

This synopsis replaces N00189-12-R-P003 Portable Vacuum Unit Rentals previously synopsized on NECO/Fedbizopps. The government intends to negotiate an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (ID/IQ) type contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) pricing arrangements. In the event a multiple award is issued, orders under such contract(s) will be competed utilizing FFP pricing. The resulting contract will be for a one year base period with TWO one-year option periods. This requirement will be issued as a small business set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 19, with options to extend services in accordance with FAR Clause 52.217-8. This requirement describes the effort required to provide Portable Vacuum Recovery Unit Rentals to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS). NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 17 January 2012 by downloading the documents at the NECO website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil or http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
