- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-11-T-.0062 This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-54 and DFARS Change Notice 20111220. It is the contractor ™s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS Code is 332311 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. Fleet Logistic Center, San Diego, Seal Beach Division intends to award a contract to a vendor that can meet the following requirements & deadlines listed below: Item 0001 200 TONS ( ½ AR 4000 ( ST 1/2MM PG64-10 OR ½ AR4000(B5X OR ST1/2MM64-10RAP BSK) OF ASPHALT DELIVERED TO PORT HUENEME, CA. ITEM # 0001 ON 24 APRIL 2012 8:00AM); ITEM 0002 - 200 TONS OF ASPHALT DELIVERY (DATE TBD), ITEM 0003 DELIVERY (DATE TBD), AND ITEM 0004- 200 TONS OF ASHPALT DELIVERY (DATE TBD). SAME LOCATION AND DELIVERY TIMES FOR THE NCTC FOR SEABEES AT PORT HUENEME, CA 93043 (MEET DRIVER AT VICTORIA GATE) The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-3 ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items; 52.219, Post Award Small Business Program Rerepresentation; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52.247-34, F.O.B. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
