- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Olympus America, Inc., 3500 Corporate Pkwy., Center Valley, PA 18034, for the purchase of EndoEYE laparoscopes to be used with the Olympus equipment already installed at the John D. Dingell VAMC, Detroit, MI. NAICS 339112 applies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm on January 3, 2012. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to Aleda E. Lutz VAMC, Attn; Calynda C. Baines (90C), 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, MI 48602 or emailed to calynda.baines3@va.gov.
