Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to lease no less than 400 and up to 600 parking spaces in one location for dedicated use by Veterans (patients) and VA staff traveling to and from the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center located at 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis IN 46202. The lease term shall be for a firm term of up to 20 years. The proposed location must be properly zoned to allow for commuter/commercial parking. Both structured and surface parking will be given consideration. Parking must be paved, striped, fenced (if surface), and lighted. Security service for the site shall be provided by the Lessor. More specific requirements will be identified in the Solicitation for Offers. Delineated Area: Parking must be located within the delineated area identified below as bounded by the following streets: North: From the intersection of W. 10th Street and Porto Alegre Street continuing east on W. 10th Street to the intersection of W. 10th Street and Wilson Street. East: From the intersection of W. 10th Street and Wilson Street heading south on Wilson Street to the intersection of Wilson Street and Wishard Boulevard, then continuing West on Wishard Boulevard to the intersection of Wishard Boulevard and Riley Hospital Drive, continuing south on Riley Hospital Drive to the intersection of Riley Hospital Drive and W. Michigan Street. South: From the intersection of Riley Hospital Drive and W. Michigan Street west on W. Michigan Street to the intersection of W. Michigan Street and Porto Alegre Street. West: From the intersection of Porto Alegre Street and W. Michigan Street north on Porto Alegre Street to the intersection of Porto Alegre Street and W. 10th Street. Properties abutting and adjacent to the boundary shall be considered to be within the delineated area. Expressions of Interest Should Include: 1. Site plan of the parking location and its address 2. Total number of parking spaces being offered. 3. Annual rate per space 4. Date by which the parking would be available for lease 5. Current condition of the parking (for example, existing or under construction, paved, lighted) Note: The government will pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value for parking spaces. Respondents are advised that the VA assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon responses to this advertisement.
