- Service Clauses & Labor and Wage Rates This is a combined synopsis solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG29-12-Q-3JM198. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2007. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The government proposes to solicit from the attached scope of work or quotes for the following items. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates and Services are included in this order and are applicable. The Walsh-Healy Act apply's to this contract. Vendors doing business with the Coast Guard must be registered with the Central Contracting Registration at www.ccr.gov. Please Fax or Email all quotes to SK3 Barbaralynn Peretti. 504-253-4520 / barbaralynn.peretti@uscg.mil THIS PURCHASE WILL BE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: Description of work: Contractor will provide, install, dismantle, and remove scaffolds at Coast Guard Station Pascagoula that ARE needed to repair dockside conduit. There is a requirement for four scaffolds with the following dimensions. 3'WideX63'LongX20'Tall with two work platforms on each. APPLICABLE REGULATIONS: All scaffolds will be built in accordance with OSHA subpart L (CFR 1926.450; 1926.452; 1926.454) requirements. INSPECTIONS: An inspection by Coast Guard personnel will be performed upon delivery of materials to verify material counts for all rental equipment; at time of installation to ensure scaffolds are placed where they are needed to perform repairs; upon completion of installation to ensure compliance with all regulations and scope of work; prior to dismantle to inspect for damages and after dismantle to ensure all equipment is accounted for prior to returning to contractor. COAST GUARD SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT: The Coast Guard will provide the necessary equipment and personnel to unload and load delivery trucks as well as provide a clean work area for installation. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Installation of scaffolding will commence on or around 17 January 2012. Once installed, the contract will be for approximately 28 days.
